British singer Zayn Malik stated on Saturday (Oct 19) that he’ll postpone the US leg of his Stairway To The Sky tour after his former One Path bandmate Liam Payne died earlier this week.
Payne, 31, died on Wednesday after falling from a third-floor lodge room balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, stunning followers of the boyband, one of the standard of all time.
“Given the heartbreaking loss skilled this week, I’ve made the choice to postpone the US leg of the STAIRWAY TO THE SKY Tour,” Malik wrote in an Instagram Story.
Malik had introduced the uncommon tour final month, with 5 dates in the US and 6 in the UK.
The US dates – to San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and New York – shall be rescheduled for January, Malik stated, from their earlier dates in October and November.

The crooner has been reclusive in recent times, after his high-profile departure from boyband One Path in 2015 whereas the group was on tour in Asia. The group broke up a yr later.
