Former Baltimore Ravens extensive receiver Jacoby Jones has died at 40.
No reason for loss of life was introduced. In a statement launched by the NFL Gamers Affiliation on Sunday, Jones’ household stated he died “peacefully” at his house in New Orleans.
Jones signed with the Ravens in Could 2012, shortly after the Texans launched him, per Professional Soccer Discuss’s Mike Florio. It proved to be an important signing, as Jones earned a first-team All-Professional nod and helped the Ravens seize their second Tremendous Bowl.
In a divisional playoff sport in opposition to the Denver Broncos in January 2013, Jones made the largest catch of his profession. With 31 seconds remaining and the Ravens trailing 35-28, he slipped behind security Rahim Moore and caught a 70-yard, game-tying landing go from quarterback Joe Flacco. Baltimore would pull off a 38-35 victory in additional time.
