Washington State College (WSU) is providing free “Queer Pole Match” lessons.
The Stephenson Health Middle on the college is providing the free classes each Friday.
”Queer Pole Match is a meant to create a group and atmosphere that helps of us really feel protected and disrupt stereotypical concepts about pole dancing,” the category description reads. “Taught by our queer pole instructors, come as you’re, and revel in this enjoyable and difficult format.”
The pole classes are being promoted as being for “all who determine as LGBTQ+” and their “allies.”
“That is labeled queer. You’re allowed to current nonetheless you’re, and you can be seen precisely in that approach,” WSU Recreation Health Coordinator Laura Yasinitsky informed the Daily Evergreen.
