LONDON: UK police mentioned Wednesday (Jul 10) a 26-year-old man was in custody after the spouse and two daughters of a radio racing commentator had been killed with a crossbow in a suspected “focused” assault.
Officers had found the three victims, aged 25, 28 and 61, with critical accidents on the home in Bushey, a leafy city northwest of London, on Tuesday night. They’d died on the scene a short while later.
The BBC mentioned that the ladies had been Carol Hunt, the spouse of its commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters.
An enormous search involving armed officers was launched for suspect, Kyle Clifford, with police warning the general public to not strategy the 26-year-old.
“Following in depth enquiries, the suspect has been situated and no one else is being sought in reference to the investigation right now,” Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the native Main Crime Unit mentioned in an announcement.
