To the editor: As soon as once more, Mom Nature is attempting to show us a lesson we appear by no means to be taught. The ability of nature, as shown by the fires throughout Southern California, means we’re merely people combating a power a lot higher than we’re.
Why don’t folks see that nature is our widespread enemy? We’re tiny in comparison with nature’s large presence.
So, let’s stick collectively, cease combating each other and simply get alongside on all ranges — inside households, amongst neighbors and amongst all who dwell on this state, on this nation and on this planet.
Ultimately, nature will win. Let’s mix to make a a lot better workforce.

To the editor: I lived in Los Angeles for practically 20 years, and frequent journeys to picture-perfect Pacific Palisades and Will Rogers State Historic Park are my greatest reminiscences.
My creativeness fails to image these locations in ashes. A higher failure of creativeness is that within the final 20 years, nobody has constructed a system designed to hold water from the close by Pacific Ocean to the place it’s wanted.
No water for firefighters? Thoughts boggling. Sorry in your tragic fires and losses.
