To the editor: Columnist Steve Lopez ends his article with the query, “What’s the easiest way ahead?” He offered a solution himself — or slightly, one of many folks he spoke to did (“In their golden years, this isn’t the country they expected to be living in. So what now?,” April 19). The Grandpa Brigade! And, after all, the corresponding Grandma Brigade. Each motion wants a superb identify, and this one will make for excellent sound bites. Even President Trump and his minions will likely be exhausting put to discover a good assault line towards Granny and Gramps. You may’t name them “faux” or “the enemy of the folks.”
