Now they’re trying to rebrand. They’re dropping their ‘democracy dies in darkness’ slogan in favor of a brand new one which’s not significantly better.
It’s not clear how that is supposed to show round their shedding streak.

Riveting Storytelling? OK.
From the New York Times:
The assertion is supposed to be an inside rallying level for workers, in response to two individuals with information of the choice. Executives aren’t planning to switch its extra strident public slogan. Suzi Watford, The Publish’s chief technique officer, has been previewing it to some staff this week.
The brand new mission assertion comes amid turmoil within the newsroom. Since June, The Publish has been reeling from a sequence of crises that has resulted in widespread dissatisfaction with Will Lewis, the corporate’s chief government. On Wednesday, greater than 400 staff despatched a letter to Jeff Bezos, the paper’s billionaire proprietor, requesting a gathering to debate management choices that they mentioned “led readers to query the integrity of this establishment” and that “prompted a few of our most distinguished colleagues to go away.”

The precise assertion is even funnier. To be sincere, WP’s tales are higher than many airport paperbacks. Russia collusion coup makes an attempt, unsubstantiated rape smears in opposition to political opponents, COVID being from a moist market, and so forth. https://t.co/VedhvAosf2
