To the editor: Not desirous to disrespect editorial author Carla Corridor and her personal note on astronauts stuck orbiting the Earth, I discover it more and more troublesome to search out any substantive reporting on our drained, previous area station.
Tv protection appears to encompass watching Suni Williams floating together with her hair protruding and updates on future rescue missions. I see few, if any, articles on the scientific accomplishments which have come from having the Worldwide Area Station. This leaves me, a taxpayer, with the impression that this endeavor is only a multibillion-dollar boondoggle.
What are we doing up there and why? What experiments are going down? What are we studying about our planet and the photo voltaic system?
If something worthwhile is being completed on this area station, it behooves the nationwide media to report on the science. If not, the press ought to report back to the American taxpayers on the waste of their cash being funneled into this previous authorities program.
