The 2024 Formulation One season marked the tip of Sergio Perez’s four-year tenure with Pink Bull Racing.
His departure was largely on account of efficiency points, with Pink Bull’s administration rising annoyed by his incapability to persistently match the distinctive type of teammate Max Verstappen.
Though Perez is absent from the grid in 2025, the 35-year-old stays optimistic about his future. He has made it clear he’s contemplating all choices, revealing that he has already acquired curiosity from a number of groups.
“If I discover a venture that motivates me absolutely to come back again, the place the crew imagine in me and the place they respect my profession, my expertise and every thing I can deliver to a crew, it could be very enticing to contemplate it,” Perez instructed the F1 website.
“That is why I’ve given myself a minimum of six months to get all my choices on the desk and decide on what I do subsequent with my profession.”
The Mexican driver went on to say that he has been approached by groups since his remaining race in Abu Dhabi and believes alternatives will “open up within the coming months.”
The rising curiosity in Perez, together with reportedly from the newly shaped Cadillac crew, highlights his worth to the game. Cadillac, which plans to enter Formulation One subsequent season, may view the six-time grand prix winner as a seasoned driver able to main the crew by its early years. His expertise, marketability and powerful racecraft make him an interesting prospect.
