Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert and Missouri Rep. Eric Burlison have launched laws to abolish the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
Reps. Andy Biggs, Mike Collins, Bob Onder, Andy Ogles, Mary Miller, Keith Self, and Paul Gosar co-sponsored the “Abolish the ATF Act of 2025.”
The ATF regulates firearms and has lengthy been criticized by Republicans for its heavy-handed tactics.
