The Baltimore Orioles designated right-hander Dillon Tate for task on Wednesday to clear house on the 40-man roster for outfielder Forrest Wall.
The Orioles claimed Wall off waivers from the Miami Marlins, who DFA’d him earlier this week. The O’s assigned him to Triple-A Norfolk.
