To the editor: In accordance with Opinion contributing author Lanhee J. Chen, a candidate for California state controller in 2022, Sen. Mitt Romeny’s (R-Utah) 20 years of public service had been “historic” as a result of he was a centrist Republican, and he tried to work in a bipartisan method. (“Romney’s Senate exit marks an end to the bipartisanship Washington desperately needs,” Opinion, Dec. 24)
Nonetheless, when Romney was operating for president in opposition to the incumbent Barack Obama in 2012, the left caricatured him as a jerk who would put his canine in a crate on high of his automotive when he took his household on trip.
It’s all the time entertaining how politics are performed on either side of the coin relying on expediency.
