Kings head coach Mike Brown has been fined $35K for “aggressively pursuing a sport official throughout reside play,” the NBA announced Tuesday in a press launch.
The incident occurred within the second quarter of Sacramento’s loss to Brooklyn on Sunday.
Brown was upset after no foul was referred to as on Nets guard Ben Simmons, who contested a fast-break layup try by Colby Jones and despatched the Kings guard to the ground. The miss, which was dominated a clear block by Simmons regardless of obvious contact, led to a Brooklyn three-pointer on the opposite finish of the court docket.
Brown, who adopted referee Scott Twardoski up the court docket after the Nets’ make, berating him for the non-call, was charged with a technical foul for his outburst.
