Safety officers exchanged gunfire with a number of energetic shooters at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.
A number of energetic shooters tried to breach the primary gate on the Chapman Coaching Annex round 4:30 am on Saturday, in accordance with KSAT.
No accidents have been reported. It’s unclear what number of shooters have been on the predominant gate.
The shooters had no affiliation with the navy, KSAT reported.
In keeping with Fox Information, the safety officers have been fired upon by suspects in a sedan.

Safety forces on the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA) returned fireplace early Saturday on a minimum of one drive-by suspect who’s accused of firing upon the primary gate on the JBSA-Chapman Coaching Annex, a JBSA spokesperson tells Fox Information Digital.
The officers have been fired upon at round 4:30 a.m. by a minimum of one suspect in a sedan and instantly returned fireplace. There have been no accidents reported, and the gate was shut for various hours.
It’s unclear what number of shooters have been concerned and what number of instances they fired upon the bottom.
“There was no energetic risk to the set up … and our safety forces responded to mitigate the risk,” spokesperson Stefanie Antosh stated, noting that the suspect or suspects didn’t attempt to breach the gates.
The motive for the capturing will not be recognized. No particulars in regards to the suspects have been launched.
