BEIRUT/JERUSALEM: The Israeli army stated on Saturday (Sep 28) it had killed Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an air strike on the group’s central headquarters within the southern suburbs of Beirut a day earlier.
The Iran-backed Hezbollah has but to concern any assertion on the standing of Nasrallah, who has led the group for 32 years.
The Israeli army “eradicated … Hassan Nasrallah, chief of the Hezbollah terrorist group,” Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote in an announcement on X.
“Hassan Nasrallah will now not be capable to terrorize the world,” the Israeli army stated in a publish on X on Saturday.
Israel launched a brand new wave of airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs and different areas of Lebanon on Saturday, a day after finishing up the large assault on the southern suburbs of Beirut often called Dahiyeh.
