Gao tells host Steve Clemons that the threats of additional taxes on Chinese language items coming to the US will damage American customers greater than China.
Gao predicts that, ultimately, the US will forfeit relations with Taiwan to maintain relations with China. If the US is frightened in regards to the movement of superconductor chips from Taiwan, China is open to concepts, together with turning all the island into one large free-trade zone, he says.
