Israel carried out a sequence of massive air attacks overnight within the densely populated southern suburbs of Beirut, together with the worldwide airport’s perimeter.
The Israeli navy performed 11 consecutive raids in what has been described as its most violent assault to this point on Lebanon’s capital, a supply near Hezbollah instructed the AFP information company.
Israeli media reported that the goal of the assaults was Hashem Safieddine – a high-ranking Hezbollah chief and doable successor to leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli assault final week.
Neither Israel nor the Lebanese group have commented.
