The article by Greg Kim, “Tents removed at a record pace,” (April 21, Venture Homeless) needs to be seen as a disappointment not an achievement. Positively addressing the homelessness concern with stability was one of many main marketing campaign problems with the town. The mayor promised to pursue the issue with stability. The article makes clear he has “relentlessly” labored to take away tents whereas permitting shelter beds to cut back. Within the caring group of Seattle that is unacceptable.
It’s time all of us settle for this is a matter brought on by our social construction that have to be corrected. The folks/voters should step up. It has turn into clear the federal government is just not going to attempt to stability the financial construction. The rich are arduously working to develop the wealth hole of their favor. It’s the group that has the final word energy and should put an finish to this imbalance so all folks can dwell in well being and well-being. All of us should demand that our authorities present justly for all.
