The article by Greg Kim, “Tents removed at a record pace,” (April 21, Venture Homeless) needs to be seen as a disappointment not an achievement. Positively addressing the homelessness concern with stability was one of many main marketing campaign problems with the town. The mayor promised to pursue the issue with stability. The article makes clear he has “relentlessly” labored to take away tents whereas permitting shelter beds to cut back. Within the caring group of Seattle that is unacceptable.
