To the editor: The explanation that the individuals who have appeared on Gov. Gavin Newsom’s podcast are standard is as a result of they unfold hate and worry (“Yes, Newsom’s new podcast is cringe. But is it also smart?” March 18). It’s neither courageous nor clever to provide additional voice to those folks. I perceive why Newsom has finished this as a result of he desires to be heard by that crowd.
Hate and worry are simple to promote as a result of folks appear to need another person accountable when issues go unsuitable of their lives. Hate the one that goes to varsity since you didn’t go. Worry the immigrant as a result of they’re accountable for you not succeeding.
It’s odd that the individuals who they appear to worship virtually all are faculty graduates and far of our nation is made up of immigrants. We have to cease being a rustic of grievances and begin working collectively to protect this nice experiment of democracy earlier than it’s gone.
