Kyle Larson was properly on his approach to profitable Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Collection race at Homestead-Miami Speedway with eight laps to go.
Larson was the dominant driver of the day and held a 16.6-second lead over Sam Mayer — till the warning flag flew for a spinning Taylor Grey.
That arrange a two-lap sprint to the end, with Larson and Austin Hill on the entrance row.
Sadly for Larson, his probability to win failed when the inexperienced flag flew for the race’s closing restart. Mayer hit the rear of Larson’s automotive on the restart, which upset Larson’s Chevrolet and shot Hill and Justin Allgaier to the highest two.
