To the editor: I don’t need to see former President Trump reelected any greater than every other Democrat. However one letter writer’s belief that this election is a no brainer is emblematic of the Democratic Social gathering’s failure to grasp the America that gave Trump 11 million extra votes in 2020 than it did in 2016, and that was after 4 years of his shredding just about all the pieces in sight.
That failure can be evidenced within the accompanying debate photograph, wherein Vice President Kamala Harris is proven feeling so smugly snug in dismissing Trump with a smirk.
Trump would have gained once more in 2020 had it not been for the COVID-19 pandemic and the toll it took on the financial system. But Democrats proceed to inform People how they should really feel (or not really feel) about any variety of issues whereas completely failing to grasp — and converse to — why it merely doesn’t matter to Trump supporters (and certainly to many different non-ideological, non-crazy People).
The Democratic Social gathering has ignored blue-collar America, its values and its issues not less than since Invoice Clinton. That is what number of of those individuals really feel: “If I vote for a Democrat, I get open borders and abortion on demand.”
Democrats, please determine this out whereas there may be nonetheless time.
