To the editor: It must be clear that efforts to legislate the real and dangerous issue of climate change by way of processes that drive up the price of power will not be acceptable to the populace. Power is the important constructing block of our financial system, and its value drives the price of the whole lot else, disproportionately affecting these with much less to start with.
Because the election confirmed, voters will take a harmful demagogue over excessive power costs.
We will solely hope to innovate our manner out of the local weather disaster in response to the adjustments which are coming. We have to use nuclear energy (each fission and fusion) to offer low-cost, clear power within the U.S. and the world.
