After almost 20 years since Sean Taylor’s premature dying, the Washington Commanders have determined to honor him correctly.
In an announcement launched Saturday, the franchise introduced plans to rejoice Taylor’s legacy. In the meantime, after a number of failed makes an attempt from the earlier regime, the Commanders have promised to lastly ship on constructing a statue of the late former star.
“Along with the Taylor household, we’re engaged on a plan, which incorporates unveiling a statue that can rightfully rejoice the legacy and influence that Sean had on our group, fan base and neighborhood,” the statement read via Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post. “The Washington Commanders are dedicated to honoring our legends in a first-class method.”
Taylor’s daughter, Jackie Taylor, helped announce the information through social media. She lauded the workforce’s possession group, headed by Josh Harris and Magic Johnson, for the chance to maintain her father’s “legacy alive.”
“I am crammed with gratitude to know that my dad will without end be part of the burgundy and gold household,” Jackie Taylor mentioned.
