BEIJING: China has urged its residents in Israel to go away “as quickly as doable”, as tensions between Israel and Lebanon’s Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah escalate.
“Presently, the scenario alongside the Israel-Lebanon border is extraordinarily tense, with frequent army conflicts,” China’s embassy in Israel mentioned in a press release on Sunday (Sep 22).
“The safety scenario in Israel stays extreme, advanced, and unpredictable,” the assertion added.
The embassy urged Chinese language residents in Israel to “return house or relocate to safer areas as quickly as doable”.
