The summit comes as Biden eyes his international coverage legacy in his ultimate months as a one-term president, after dropping out of the 2024 US election and successfully handing the Democratic Social gathering nomination to his vice chairman, Kamala Harris.
“This shall be President Biden’s first time internet hosting international leaders in Wilmington as president – a mirrored image of his deep private relationships with every of the Quad Leaders, and the significance of the Quad to all of our international locations,” his spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre stated in an announcement.
Biden “seems ahead” to welcoming Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, she added.
