US economist Richard Wolff weighs in on BRICS, the systemic issues of the USA financial system, and the way forward for Israel.
The American empire has peaked “and we’re on the way in which down… and we attempt to maintain on”, says Richard Wolff, professor emeritus of economics on the College of Massachusetts Amherst, who notes that the BRICS coalition of economies (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is gaining an edge over the USA.
Wolff tells host Steve Clemons that it’s “a really troublesome expertise for People” to understand that they misplaced wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq. And regardless of unconditional help from the US, Israel won’t be able to prevail in the long term.
“Israel is a rustic of some million individuals and isn’t going to regulate and run the Center East … with or with out the USA,” argues Wolff.
