Russell Wilson, on Sunday, addressed the potential for winding up with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025 and reuniting with coach Pete Carroll.
Wilson largely dodged questions on his future when talking to the media on the Professional Bowl Video games on Saturday. He predicted that Carroll would achieve success with the Raiders, however mentioned his focus proper now’s on remaining with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“I’m trying ahead to hopefully going again to the Steelers and we’ll see what occurs with the remaining,” Wilson told Mark Long of The Associated Press. “I find it irresistible in Pittsburgh.
“Pete’s going to be an ideal coach, clearly. He’s nice at what he does. However I’m targeted on the Steelers.”
For Wilson, the large query is whether or not the Steelers need him again or not. Some experiences have recommended that they prefer Justin Fields to Wilson going ahead, which would depart the veteran looking for a brand new staff. The Raiders are an apparent risk in that situation, because it has been reported that the problems that plagued Carroll and Wilson on the finish of Wilson’s Seahawks tenure have been left in the past.
Wilson threw for two,482 yards with 16 touchdowns and 5 interceptions in 11 begins for the Steelers this season. Each he and the staff pale badly down the stretch, elevating severe questions on his future.
