Hamas has repeatedly claimed that as a part of the ceasefire settlement, Israeli forces have been to withdraw from Netzarim on Saturday, in the course of the second hostage-prisoner swap, and permit displaced Gazans from to return to the north.
Amongst these attempting to return Saturday was Samia Helles, a 26-year-old from Gaza Metropolis.
She advised AFP that she had travelled together with her three youngsters to be among the many first again.
“To this point, I do not know whether or not my home continues to be standing or destroyed. I do not know if my mom is alive or useless. I have never been in a position to contact her for a month,” she stated.
Jibril al-Jumla, 39, stated he has been “right here with my spouse, three daughters and 4 sons” since Friday, ready to cross to the north.
“We have been displaced in October 2023 to Khan Yunis and moved a number of instances from there. We lived a lifetime of humiliation, starvation, concern and terror.”
