DOHA: Mediator Qatar mentioned it briefed United States President-elect Donald Trump’s Center East envoy Steve Witkoff on Friday (Jan 10) about Gaza ceasefire talks it has been brokering alongside Egypt and the US.
Of their assembly in Doha, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani mentioned with Witkoff “the newest developments within the area, particularly the efforts aimed toward reaching a ceasefire within the Gaza Strip”, the Qatari international ministry mentioned.
