JERUSALEM: Israel has instructed its diplomatic missions in Europe to attempt to get the Iran-backed Houthi insurgent group in Yemen designated as a terrorist organisation.
The Houthis have repeatedly fired drones and missiles in direction of Israel in what the group describes as acts of solidarity with Palestinians preventing Israeli forces in Gaza.
The assaults have disrupted worldwide transport routes, forcing corporations to re-route to longer and dearer journeys which have in flip stoked fears over international inflation.
