Sudan’s military has launched an offensive to retake the capital, Khartoum, and surrounding areas from the Fast Assist Forces, a rival paramilitary.
The assault comes greater than a 12 months into the devastating warfare, which has brought on one of many world’s largest humanitarian crises, the outbreak of illness and widespread displacement.
But there isn’t any finish in sight to the battle, which has killed hundreds of individuals.
