The engine of a Delta aircraft flying from Orlando to Atlanta caught fireplace on Monday.
Emergency slides had been deployed after the aircraft’s engine caught fireplace on the tarmac.
All 282 passengers had been evacuated. No accidents had been reported.

A Delta passenger jet caught fireplace on the tarmac at Orlando Worldwide Airport Monday and passengers needed to evacuate by way of the emergency slides, the Federal Aviation Authority stated Monday.
Delta Air Traces Flight 1213, sure for Atlanta, was pushing again from the gate for departure at round 11:15 a.m. native time on Monday when an engine caught fireplace, the FAA stated in an announcement.
There have been no preliminary experiences of accidents.
“The hearth was contained and is out,” a spokesperson for the Orlando airport stated, including that fireplace crews are on the scene.
Based on Delta, the aircraft, an Airbus 330, had 282 passengers, 10 flight attendants and two pilots on board. The airline stated crews evacuated the cabin when flames had been seen within the tailpipe of one of many aircraft’s two essential engines.
Passengers had been seen exiting sliding down the emergency slides.

This newest scare comes after a Delta aircraft crash landed on a snowy runway at Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada in February.
