It’s appalling to learn that underneath President Donald Trump, the Social Safety Administration is returning to an indefensible coverage of withholding 100% of recipients’ advantages when attempting to recoup unintentional overpayments, even when these overpayments have been solely the federal government’s fault.
That is particularly indefensible when the administration is slicing workers, rising the probability of errors similar to overpayments, and rising the issue of clearing of errors.
