An Ohio police officer has been indicted on a homicide cost after a lady who refused police instructions to exit her automobile was shot lifeless as she rolled her automobile into the officer.
Ta’Kiya Younger, 21, who was pregnant, was killed within the August 2023 incident after police sought to detain Younger in response to a shoplifting criticism, based on NBC.
Blendon Township Police Officer Connor Grubb was charged with 4 counts of homicide, 4 counts of felonious assault and two counts of involuntary manslaughter, based on on-line information filed Tuesday.
Bodycam video posted to X reveals police interacting with Younger as she refused to comply.
“Out of the automobile,” an officer stated repeatedly.

“For what?” Younger stated.
“They stated you stole stuff. Don’t depart,” the officer stated.
Because the officer tells Younger to get out of her automobile, she stated, “I’m not doing that.”
The video reveals an officer’s hand nonetheless within the open window because the automobile strikes away.
Video confirmed a second officer, Grubb, who stood in entrance of Younger’s automobile, put his hand on the hood and pointed his gun at Younger.
Throughout the confrontation, Younger informed police “I didn’t steal s***,” based on NBC.
After extra instructions to get out of the automobile, Younger refused, including, “You gonna shoot me?”
The video posted to X reveals the automobile transferring, adopted by one shot.
Blendon Township Police Chief John Belford stated that Younger drove her automobile instantly into an officer who “fired a single shot by the windshield,” based on NBC.
Belford stated Grubb was a sufferer of tried vehicular assault and that the officer who needed to pull his hand from the open window was a sufferer of misdemeanor assault.
Nadine Younger, the sufferer’s grandmother, boiled the difficulty all the way down to race.
“An unarmed black feminine was killed. That’s what we all know,” she stated.
Younger referred to as Grubb “a bully with a badge” and needs him locked up for all times.
Sean Walton, an legal professional representing Younger’s household, stated Grubb is in charge for not de-escalating the incident.
